The name of the band fell from the lips of our good musician friend, Grady Hemm. That was when all we had for open mics was a simple guitar, a kick drum and a floor tom. Pencil Fight, has a very interesting mixture of Jazz and 80s Synth Landscapes. There is a hint of Miles Davis running through the keys, but it is cut like a knife by jutting synth sounds that jolt in.
